Come and celebrate spring, relearning the intelligence of your own cycle and how to move with it instead of against it.
Spend an afternoon with Sofía and Martina exploring the menstrual cycle through conversation, reflection and gentle movement. In Bloom brings together cycle awareness, QiGong, Yin Yoga, acupressure and a space to connect in sisterhood.
Most of us were never taught how our cycles actually work — only how to manage them, hide them, or push through them. This is a chance to relearn what your body has been telling you all along.
You move through four inner seasons across the menstrual cycle: an inner winter, spring, summer and autumn. They reflect the rhythm the Earth moves through in a year, unfolding within you in your own timing. We’ll walk through each one — what’s going on in your body, why you feel so different across them, and what each season is actually asking of you. Not a biology lesson — a reintroduction.
Because your cycle isn’t an inconvenience to get through. It’s information. When you know which season you’re in, you can stop demanding that you be the same person every day — and start working with your own rhythm.
You’ll also learn the foundations of menstrual cycle tracking — what to notice, how to record it, and how tracking can help you recognise your own patterns. You’ll receive a menstrual cycle tracker to continue using at home.
Then we’ll pause for Wellington Apothecary tea, snacks and time to connect — a relaxed moment to chat, breathe and let everything settle.
In the second half, Martina will guide us into the body through QiGong, Yin Yoga, acupressure and self-myofascial release — gentle practices for the Spleen, Liver and Kidneys, which in Daoism govern our hormonal health. Things you can take home and actually use, in any season of your cycle.
Whether you’re completely new to this, coming back for a refresher, or you simply want to sit in a room of women talking honestly about their bodies — this is the space for it.
Spring is a good season for putting yourself out there and learning something new. Bring your friends. Bring your sister, bring the girlfriend who keeps saying she should look into this. It’s a lovely afternoon to spend together.

Sofía is a menstrual cycle coach, natural contraception and fertility educator, and environmental advocate — and the founder of Earthic. With a background in environmental science and years spent working in community and not-for-profit spaces, her question about how we might live in a way that honours the Earth led her back to her own body, her cycle, and the rhythms that shape all of life. She supports women to reconnect with their bodies and remember the wider rhythms of nature we are always part of.

Martina has practised yoga since 2014 and taught since 2017, across Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin and Nidra, alongside Daoism, trauma-informed approaches and release bodywork techniques.
Her teachings are rooted in empowerment, care, understanding, acceptance and love — and in a simple principle: the practice suits the body, not the other way around. Everybody can practise, whatever their physical limitations, and every practice can be modified to meet the body’s boundaries.
A trauma survivor herself, Martina has experienced firsthand that emotional and, in certain circumstances, physical healing is possible. Having found these tools so effective, she feels it necessary to share them with the world. Healing comes from within.
Absolutely. Whether your cycles are irregular, you use hormonal contraception, are pregnant or postpartum, moving through perimenopause, or no longer menstruating, you are welcome here.
This information is valuable for women at every stage of life. The menstrual cycle offers a way of understanding cyclical rhythms in the body and in nature, and you can work with these ideas wherever you are in your own journey.
None at all. Props and mats are provided, Martina will guide you through every practice, and each one can be modified to suit your body. Come exactly as you are.
Bring a journal and a pen to take notes — there may be things you want to write down. Wear something comfortable to move in, and bring anything else that might help you feel extra cosy, such as a blanket. We’ll provide tea and snacks.
In Bloom has been postponed until further notice, and bookings are closed. Thank you so much to everyone who signed up.
New offerings are on their way, including an online version of this workshop. Follow along on Instagram or get in touch to hear about them first.
